"Lid" to prevent resin from puffing up

A clear silicone lid to prevent resin from spilling out of the mold.

Lids of each size: 40mm x 40mm
Lid (large) 45mm x 80mm
Lid (extra large) 70mm x 70mm

It is used to straighten out puffy items that have been filled with too much resin in the mold, as shown in the second image.
It's very easy to use; just place it on top of the mold filled with resin.

The overflowing resin will leave a thin burr as shown in the image (5th photo), but this can be easily removed with your fingers, so feel free to remove the burr as you wish.
If fine processing is required, remove burrs using a craft knife or cutter.

This tool makes deburring much easier by turning all unexpected burrs into uniform burrs.

In addition, since the resin hardens with the lid on, it is possible to prevent the resin from warping due to the heat that occurs during hardening to some extent, and it also makes it easier to attach both sides of the mold.

🧼 Care

After use, wipe the inside of the container with an alcohol tissue and store away from direct sunlight.
- Prolonged exposure to ultraviolet rays may cause deterioration.

🧪 Mold Life

・Guideline: Approximately 20 times with proper care and storage. ・Two-component curing epoxy resins can be used, but their lifespan will be significantly shorter.
- For products purchased more than six months ago, the silicone may break over time.
